HBa were the M&E Services Design Engineers for the award-winning refurbishment of the City Centre car park. The existing car park was dark and unwelcoming in appearance and attracted vandalism, resulting in visitors to Coventry hesitating to leave their vehicles there.
Our duties included the complete design of an energy efficient lighting installation, including a bespoke lighting controls package and associated controls systems.
This project has been awarded the British Car Park Awards 2012 – Best Car Park Refurbishment.
Key features include:
- Automatic presence detection controlled lighting.
- New emergency lighting
- Bespoke central control panel designed by HBa for ease of use by Council Maintenance teams
